what is a lottery
The lottery is a computer system that randomly selects names to fill spaces at Trivium. We are required to hold a lottery since we have more students than spaces available.
When can I apply for the next school year?
The lottery application for the upcoming school year will always be available from December 1st through February 14th. You must apply within this time frame to be included in the lottery. Applying in the lottery will give you the highest chance of your family receiving a spot.
Once enrolled, will I need to repeat the lottery each year?
No. Once enrolled, your family is grandfathered into Trivium. If you unenroll at any point you will have to redo the lottery process.
When will I know my student(s) received a spot?
We send email invitations out that require you to fill out an acceptance form. All email invitations are sent out by the end of March. If you end up on the waiting list, we often work through about 85% of the waiting list prior to school starting.
Would my currently enrolled students siblings have priority?
Yes. All siblings receive priority.

How do I apply?
Once the lottery application deadline has passed, families will submit a request for enrollment. The request for enrollment will enter your family onto the waitlist. If a spot becomes available, you will be notified via an email invitation.
What if there are no in-person spots available?
Trivium has highly engaging virtual and remote learning options for all ages. We typically do not have a waiting list for online-only options. Students enrolled in our online programs will have first priority for an in-person spot if it becomes available.
When is the deadline for mid-year transfer?
Transfer availability concludes the first week of January. After enrollment closes, we only accept special circumstances outlined by the state of California. Please contact the enrollment team to see if your family qualifies.
